Emergency Management and Hazard Mitigation Certification Program at Florida International
University. Duties included setting up the conference room and coordinating with the
audio/visual department and the speakers for each seminar. Acted as audio/visual
specialist and production engineer for the setup and recording of the seminars to be
distributed as part of a telecourse through Florida International University Outreach
Department. Aided in the organization and execution of the Hemispheric Congress on
Disaster Reduction and Sustainable Development (09/30/96-10/02/96) at the Florida
International University Kovens Conference Center. The program was sponsored in part by
Florida International University, La Red, We Shall Rebuild, and the International
Hurricane Center.
Acted as the Battalion Commander, Honor Guard Commander, Color Guard Commander, Company
